  Paul J. McNulty, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, announced today that James Turner, age 45, of Chesapeake, Virginia, was sentenced by Judge Jerome B. Friedman in U.S. District Court in Norfolk, Virginia, to 64 months imprisonment, 3 years of supervised release, and restitution of $392,131.25, for his role in the thefts of merchandise from interstate shipments at Norfolk Southern Railway’s trans-shipment point in Chesapeake, Virginia, from the Summer of 2000 until May of 2001.
